Are you interested in past and modern Rome architecture? 6-7 may 2017, OPEN HOUSE ROME is for you!


The OPEN HOUSE ROMA 5th edition, dedicated to architecture and design of Rome, will showcase 150 sites that will be opened in seven main areas of the city: the Historical Centre; the Parioli and Flaminio neighborhoods, where the new Zaha Hadid museum MAXXI is located; the Nomentano-Pietralata area, where a major reshaping of the urban landscape is currently ongoing, a great example is the MACRO museum with the restoration of the old block of the Peroni brewery designed by the french architect Odile Decq; the Esquilino-San Lorenzo, multiethnic and dynamic area, the Appio-San Giovanni, where archeological sites and new buildings are mixed together, the EUR-Corviale district, home to some of the best 20th century buildings, and finally Monteverde-Ostiense, one of the most active area in term of maker spaces, night life and contemporary infill.
